About New Life
Our Mission
We exist to glorify God, to make disciples, and to be a blessing to others in Jesus’ name.
New Life in Christ is a free gift of the grace of God offered to anyone who would respond to the invitation of Jesus; “follow Me”. Receiving and responding to the saving love of Jesus changes who we are and how we live.
“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23
Our Beginning
New Life was planted when a group of believers gathered on November 13, 2022 with a vision for ministering to the needs of Pell City, St. Clair County, and the surrounding areas. We are an independent church in the Wesleyan tradition though not a member of a denomination. We are partners in ministry with the Forged Network of churches in Alabama.
We welcome all people and invite you to experience new life in Christ with us!
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4
Essentials of New Life
We encourage one another in our daily walk with Jesus by meeting in small groups for prayer, ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of our community, and taking part in deeply meaningful times of worship and study. We long to see all people connected in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and supported in close-knit Christian community.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Our Future
God has blessed us with property upon which to build a permanent church home. In the very near future, we plan to begin the necessary clearing and site work. An outdoor chapel and pavilion will be constructed first. The New Life property is located four miles south of our current worship location along Hwy 231 in Cropwell.
